STILL LIFE

This series is an exploration of light, perception, and composition.

The Stone Face works begin with nothing more than rough, palm-sized rocks. Through careful observation of each contour and facet—searching for the faintest suggestion of a human expression—and the use of precise, highly controlled lighting, a face begins to emerge. The light does not invent the form; it reveals it, gently guiding the viewer toward a presence that feels both accidental and unmistakably human.

Unrelated Objects, by contrast, is a study in composition and narrative. Different elements are thoughtfully gathered and arranged into still-life scenes where, through balance and tension, a quiet story unfolds. What begins as randomness resolves into intention.

No Photoshop or digital manipulation was used in the creation of these images—each composition exists exactly as captured through the lens.

All prints are produced on Hahnemühle 100% cotton rag paper, with editions strictly limited to 50. Available in standard sizes, with custom options offered upon request.
